According to survey statistic, there are 67 scooter/motorbike per 100 citizens. Despite the convenient and punctual public transports available in town, Taiwanese still rely on scooter heavily especially when it comes to short distance commuting. When compare to biker population in other region especially in east/southeast Asia, the female bikers are much higher in ratio. It’s a wonderful view watching young women cruising on their scooter in hot pants~
I once own an retro style semi auto bike, which had brought me travelling around Taipei during my early days here. For some reasons, this old faithful buddy have to be let go. It is better for the bike, as it could continue its life serving someone else who needs it, rather then sitting at the parking lot. However its rather sad for me at the same time, having to let go so many memories travelling with it.
Good bye, MP8070.
