[2010/02/10] PixelArts Issue 18

PixelArts Magazine it is a free publication, is shown in an electronic format dedicated to graphical artists, painters, photographers and all visual creative people that attained success by holding the secret ingredients: art,design and imagination. I have got an invitation to share some of my works on the mag earlier on.

When issue 18 was out, i was totally shocked to see Miss White Cloth’s booty on the cover. 12 works of mine were shown in the issue together with a profile cross-page. I must thank Mihnea Prefit for the opportunity offered.

It was an unbelievable day when I received the note from dear Ariadna offering me a chance to participate in the exhibition at Tarragona, Spain.

The exhibition was organized by Espai Cromàtic which consists of a group of passionate and helpful artists who helps others to showcase and market their works. This is the second exhibition that they have in the Illustration+photo gallery in Tarragona. I was lucky enough to have 11 works showcased there and grateful for the team’s effort for making it happen.

[2009/05/23] Popcorn #2

POPCORN is a local (Malaysia) english magazine by the Art Square Group,featuring artworks of top notch artist from Asia, including Tan Eng Huat, Billy Tan, Sonny Liew …etc. It provides a platform for local artist to broadcast their creativity and opens a gateway for dream weavers to strive their way into mainstream, creating new wave abroad. (more about the magazine)

My work has “Oiran” (yea,the same work again) has been featured in Popcorn #2 together with other artist like Luciole Loong, Virus-AC74, David Wang, Rain, Kuang Hong, Hyrohiku and Jay Shen. Puppeteer (one of my fav local artist) is kind enough to share his workflow with a thorough tutorial in the same issue. Not missing out also an article about the famous Imaginary Friends Studio and its co-founders, Kai, Kendrick and Stanley.
